New ATV Trail!

Good news! Historic Pittston Farm is now ATV accessible!

The North Maine Woods Gatehouse has been moved back about 5 miles. As a result ATVs are now permitted as far north as Pittston Farm. The new multipurpose ATV trail opened July 30th last summer and traffic was moderate from the opening day and we expect to be much more busy this year as the word will travel that ATV's are now allowed.


ATV riders can now start from Jackman, Rockwood, Greenville and beyond, and ride all the way to Pittston Farm, your new ATV destination. Come and enjoy this new recreation here that is great fun and good exercise for all ages. The multiuse ATV trail will also be shared with horseback riders so keep alert for all animals, including horses. We're offering packaged specials and they're posted on our web-site. Don't forget this is a great time to enjoy the pastine of fishing for Native Brook Trout out in front of our lodge in the evening after a great home-cooked meal, watching the sunset using one or our canoes or kayaks, so remember your fishing rod! Spend the night in one our cozy accommodations, enjoying all the amenities and in the morning enjoy our great breakfast. If you caught trout the night before we'll prepare it for you to enjoy! After breakfast enjoy more fishing or pack a nice lunch to go for your ride back down the ATV trail. Prices for our different packages are attached on our web-site.
